Pepin Power Skating

What is Power Skating?
Power Skating involves the study of edges, balance and movement based on the laws of physics. It further incorporates muscular strength, coordination and agility. Power Skating refers to the coaching of proper skating technique.

COACH BIO

Being a high level competitive hockey player and speed skater, I put together both skating disciplines to develop a unique and innovative power skating program.  Combining the quickness and agility of hockey skating with the stride efficiency of speed skating.

ABOUT

Power Skating is often confused with conditioning. While on-ice conditioning is an important part of your hockey program, the benefits of training while skating correctly are far more valuable.

PROGRAMS

Pepin Power Skating is a progression based power skating program designed for hockey players. Which focuses on advanced techniques using body mechanics, efficiency, strength and conditioning.

TESTIMONIALS

“We feel fortunate for our son Harry to have had a wonderful experience skating with Michelle.  She helped inspire not only a love of skating but also learning, and has given Harry the determination to continue in sports.  Her approach is organized and positive.  I would highly recommend Michelle as a skating coach for anyone wanting to excel and develop at any level of sport”.

“Michelle Pepin is an excellent skating coach.  Her emphasis on proper stride technique and edge control is a fantastic combination.  Her ability to teach in proper progression allows skaters of all skill levels to improve rapidly and with confidence.  I’ve seen a vast improvement in all of my players that have worked with her.  Thank you!”
